 Oklahoma Bull Riders Incorporated, also known as the BRI, was formed in 2010 by a group of men wanting to provide a place for local bull riders to get together in a professional atmosphere and give it their all to win the coveted buckle and prize money.

Some of the shareholders had put on bull riding events, but none were sanctioned by any official association. They decided there needed to be an official organization.


The shareholders - Kevin Foreman, Danny Lemmons, David Wesson, Kenny Don Lawrence, Howard Dorsey, and Blake Burns – pooled their money together to get it off the ground. With 15 events the first year and 45 members, they felt it was a success, but knew it was just the beginning.


Year two of the BRI brought over 70 members and 24 sanctioned events. The third year it grew to over 130 members and between 30 and 35 events.
